Potomac Intermediate School Addition
A venerable independent K-12 school, The Potomac School embarked on a multi-year modernization plan for their 90-acre campus. Upgrade encompasses the renovation and addition of the Intermediate School wing, one of four divisions, in which McMullan was challenged with design coordination of The Commons stair; temperature changes and exposure to steel canopy beams; and a steeply graded site. The result is a welcoming, light-filled instructional atmosphere along with semi-independent study areas that achieved LEED Gold certification.
