LBJ Federal Building Exterior Limestone Panel Facade Repairs
Due to the limestone panel facade having significant cracking and deterioration, McMullan performed a structural investigation that included removal of several panels to fully understand the failure mechanism. Then, McMullan provided structural design, construction documents, and construction administration services to repair the existing building exterior in such a manner as to restore the structural and waterproofing integrity of the limestone panel facade system, preserving the cultural and historically significant aspects of the original structure.
